Cambodia: A new round of covid-19 deaths follows introduction of vaccination
The following tweet alerted me to some of the most important information I have been able to glean about the 2nd or 3rd wave of covid-19.Compare the figures fo deaths from covid in Vietnam and Cambodia.
Prior to February they were having very few deaths;
Cambodia started vaccinations and look what happens to the deaths within weeks; Vietnam, which until now has not mass-vaccianted has not seen such a trend.
I decided to do a little factchecking for myself and what I found corresponded with the above.

Cambodia begins vaccination campaign against COVID-19
Three sons of Cambodian leader Hun Sen were inoculated against COVID-19 as the country began distributing vaccines donated from its closest ally, China
Three sons of Cambodian leader Hun Sen were inoculated against COVID-19 on Wednesday as the country began distributing vaccines donated from its closest ally, China.
Hun Manet, the head of the army and Hun Sen’s eldest son, urged all Cambodians to be vaccinated and thanked China for the donation.
“I trust this vaccine and that is why I have been vaccinated with it,” Hun Manet said.
China is donating 1 million doses of the Chinese-made Sinopharm vaccine, enough for half a million people, and the first shipment of 600,000 doses arrived in Cambodia on Sunday.
Hun Sen’s two sons-in-law, government ministers and other officials were vaccinated at a state-run hospital.

It seems that Vietnam has now started vaccinating, so this needs watching
Vietnam to have its first Covid-19 vaccine
Results of a clinical trial phase 2 of made-in-Vietnam Covid-19 vaccine Nanocovax showed that 100% of vaccinated people made antibodies to fight the virus. The vaccine was also effective on the British variant of the coronavirus.
Phase 2 started on February 26 on 554 volunteers at the Military Medical Academy and the Medical Center of Ben Luc district in Long An province and ended on April 8.
According to the research team, the vaccine worked well as expected. All three doses have proven to be safe. 100% of participants produced antibodies at different levels
That is quite an interesting correlation. Could there possibly be a causative link?
