The Houthis officially declared war on Israel: They targeted the nuclear plant in Dimona – Mass attack with ballistic missiles, cruises and drones

At least one missile landed in Jordan – Yemen, the first country to enter the war

The Houthis have now officially declared war on Israel, announcing a large-scale attack with ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones against Israeli targets.

Yemen is the first country to enter the war against Israel. This means that the forces that make up the “Axis of Resistance” have been ordered to escalate and gradually enter war with Israel.

According to reports, the Shimon Peres Negev Nuclear Research Center in Dimona, Israel, was also a target of the Houthis. Fortunately, the missiles never arrived.

The Arrow air defense system intercepted a medium-range ballistic missile (MRBM) over the Red Sea en route to Eilat in southern Israel. This is the first operational use of the “Arrow” air defense system since the beginning of the war and in March 2017.

At least one Quds-3 missile fired by the Houthis towards Israel was skidded/intercepted(?) over Jordan.

Images reveal the wreckage of the missile in the southern Mudawwara region of ma’an in Jordan, about 1,500 kilometers away from Yemen.

Houthi involvement is quite serious. Their forces have medium-range Toufan ballistic missiles (Iranian Quds 3) with a range of ~1950 km. For this reason, the Saudi Army was put on high alert.

Yemen’s Houthi rebels have declared war on Israel

“We, out of a sense of religious, moral, humanitarian and national responsibility, and in response to the demands of our Yemeni people and the demands of the free peoples, and to provide relief to our oppressed people in Gaza, have deemed it necessary for the Yemeni Armed Forces to perform their duty, relying on God and victory over the historical oppression of the beloved Palestinian people.”

The spokesman of the Armed Forces also stated that “the continuation of the commission of crimes and massacres by the enemy entity against the people of the Gaza Strip and the whole of Palestine destabilizes the region and widens to the circle of conflicts”.

Furthermore, he added that “this operation is the third one carried out by the Armed Forces of Yemen in support of the Palestinian people”.

Giving more information, in televised statements, Houthi spokesman Yahya Shari said the airstrike included drones as well as ballistic and cruise missiles.

The attack was carried out, as he said, “out of a sense of religious, moral, humanitarian and national responsibility” for the people of Gaza, in the face of the weakness of the Arab world and the collusion of some Arab countries with Israel.

The operation took place at the ” request of the Yemeni people”, he added.

In another point of his statements, he pointed out that “the position of the Yemeni people towards the Palestinian issue is firm in that the Palestinian people have the full right to self-defense and to obtain all their rights.”

Yemen, the poorest country on the Arabian Peninsula, has been mired in a war for the past eight years between the Houthi rebels, who control the capital Sanaa, and the government backed by a military coalition led by Saudi Arabia.

Israel: First wartime use for Arrow long-range defense system

All threats were intercepted outside the territory of the State of Israel. No incursion into Israeli territory was detected ,” Haggari also reported.

Israel say they carried out airstrike that Hamas claim killed more than 50 people at Gaza’s Jabalia refugee camp: ‘Dozens of bodies’ are recovered after site is reduced to giant crater – IDF claim their jets took out senior jihadi commander

The death toll in the Gaza Strip has topped 8,525 since October 7, according to the Hamas-run health ministry

Israel has confirmed that it was behind an airstrike at the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, where the Hamas-run health authority has claimed more than 50 people have been killed and 150 wounded.

Israel Defence Forces’ (IDF) spokesman Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari said that Israeli fighter jets carried out the attack, which he claimed killed a senior Hamas commander and caused the terror group’s underground infrastructure to collapse.

The IDF claimed that Ibrahim Biari, the commander of Hamas’s Central Jabaliya Battalion who they say was one of the leaders behind the October 7 massacre in Israel, was killed in the intense blast.

In a statement, the IDF said: ‘A short while ago, IDF fighter jets, acting on ISA intelligence, killed Ibrahim Biari, the Commander of Hamas’ Central Jabaliya Battalion. Biari was one of the leaders responsible for sending ‘Nukbha’ terrorist operatives to Israel to carry out the murderous terror attack on October 7th.’

Buildings have been levelled in the densely-populated neighbourhood, opening up huge sinkholes, with residents likening it to an earthquake and saying that the ground began to collapse around them.

Pictures show apocalyptic scenes, with scores of distraught onlookers gathered around two vast craters which some clambered into as they desperately searched for any survivors.

Meanwhile, dozens of white body bags have filled up the nearby streets, awaiting burial at the hospital near the encampment.

A Gazan health ministry statement said: ‘More than 50 martyrs and around 150 wounded and dozens under the rubble, in a heinous Israeli massacre that targeted a large area of homes in Jabalia camp in the northern Strip.’
