And the researchers succeeded. In a non-peer-reviewed paper posted on the lab’s website, the professor claims to have provided the most comprehensive characterization of Starlink signals to date.
The conclusions of the researchers are disappointing: Starlink is vulnerable in terms of security, the system itself can be intervened from outside.

As a solution, scientists propose a relatively controlled explosion of a relatively weak 10 Mt nuclear warhead at a given height. It is noted that an explosion in orbit can be dangerous for a number of consequences, so the option of an explosion at an altitude of 80 km was proposed. At this level, there is still enough air to form a radioactive cloud, which in five minutes will rise to a height of 500 km and spread over an area of about 140 thousand square meters. km.
