Meeting to arrange a Summit – FAILS
19 April, 2021
Top advisers to leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany met today to chart a path for a possible summit aimed to ease tensions in the region.
According to reports, the meeting has concluded, and per reports, the meeting ended without yielding results.
Relations are so wrecked by Biden and NATO, the meeting couldn’t even agree to a MEETING between the parties!
When the talking ends, the shooting war generally begins.

Kyiv says all sides reaffirmed commitment to ceasefire in eastern Ukraine after talks
All sides have reaffirmed their commitment to reaching a ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, a Ukrainian statement said on Monday after a round of talks involving political advisers and diplomats in the so-called Normandy format.
The Normandy format brought together the governments of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France to help end the conflict in eastern Ukraine between Kyiv’s forces and Russian-backed separatists.
A source earlier told Reuters the latest talks lasted for about three hours and brought no tangible results. read more

Kremlin: No Plans for Putin-Biden Meeting at Climate Summit
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Bilateral contacts between Russian President Vladimir Putin with his US counterpart, Joe Biden, and other heads of state are not planned within the framework of the upcoming climate summit, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told Sputnik.
“No. Such contacts are not planned,” Peskov said, answering the relevant question.
The US President invited 40 world leaders, including Putin, to the climate summit, which Washington intends to organise on April 22-23 in a virtual format. On Monday, the Kremlin announced that Putin had accepted the invitation, that he would speak at the 22 April meeting via video conference and outline Russia’s approach to the issue.
Earlier, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Chinese President Xi Jinping discussed preparations for the summit.
Meanwhile, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan discussed possible directions in the development of the US-Russia cooperation and the progress of preparation for a high-level meeting during a phone conversation on Monday, the Russian Security Council said.
“Nikolai Patrushev and Jake Sullivan discussed the preparations for the high-level meeting, as well as possible directions in the development of Russian-American cooperation”, the council said in a statement.
During the conversation, Patrushev told Sullivan that Washington’s interference in the internal affairs of Russia and its allies is unacceptable.
“The Russian side pointed out the inadmissibility of the US interference in the internal affairs of Russia and its allies, the lack of reasons and evidence of the accusations brought against Russia, on the basis of which the White House introduced a package of anti-Russian sanctions”, the council added.
In March, Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov was invited to Moscow for consultations to analyse further actions in the context of relations with the United States. During the consultations in Moscow, Antonov held meetings at the Foreign Ministry, both houses of parliament, as well as with Kremlin aide Yury Ushakov.
The move also comes following US President Joe Biden’s interview with ABC News, in which he claimed that Russian President Vladimir Putin would “pay a price” for alleged interference in the US elections and answered in the affirmative when asked whether he considered Putin a “killer”.
Putin commented on Biden’s remarks, wishing him good health and reminding him that evaluating other people is like looking in a mirror, and invited Biden to continue the discussion online.
