NZ media produces gross propaganda to support the government agenda

What has happened to the Fourth Estate?

Since the news of the Fauci emails and a reversal in the policy of social media on discussing the Chinese bioweapon there has been a cross-the- board SILENCE on this from the New Zealand media.

However, out of the blue comes this from Radio NZ.

They can’t even do their own stuff but reprint BBC lies. Notice how much attention they pay to the reaction from their friends in the Chinese Communist Party!

To call this misleading propaganda would be a gross understatement, but I suspect a majority of people don’t mind being lied to.

Covid-19 origin: China hits back as US revisits Wuhan lab-leak theory

US President Joe Biden has said he expects to release the results of an intelligence report on the origins of the virus.

China’s foreign ministry accused the US of “political manipulation and blame shifting”.

It has rejected any link between Covid-19 and a virus research lab in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

Covid-19 was first detected in Wuhan in late 2019. Since then, more than 168 million cases have been confirmed worldwide and about 3.5m deaths reported.

Chinese officials linked early Covid-19 cases to a seafood market in Wuhan, leading scientists to theorise that the virus had first passed to humans from animals.

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has said it is “extremely unlikely” that the virus spread from a lab leak, following a visit to Wuhan earlier this year to investigate the origins of the coronavirus outbreak.

WHO virologist Marion Koopmans, who was part of that field visit, told the BBC that if the US authorities had any information they should share it.

But recent US media reports have suggested growing evidence the virus could instead have emerged from a laboratory in China, perhaps through an accidental leak.

Why is this dispute happening now?

In a statement on Wednesday, President Biden said he had asked for a report on the origins of Covid-19 after taking office, “including whether it emerged from human contact with an infected animal or from a laboratory accident”. On receiving it this month, he asked for “additional follow-up”.

Biden said the majority of the intelligence community had “coalesced” around those two scenarios, but “do not believe there is sufficient information to assess one to be more likely than the other”.

He said he had now asked agencies to “redouble their efforts to collect and analyse information that could bring us closer to a definitive conclusion”.

On Thursday, Biden told reporters he planned to release the report “unless there’s something I’m unaware of”.

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau then voiced his support for efforts made by the US and other countries to better understand the origins of the virus.

Wednesday’s announcement angered Chinese officials.

Foreign ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said it showed the US “does not care about facts or truth, and has zero interest in a serious science-based study of origins”.

“Their aim is to use the pandemic to pursue stigmatisation, political manipulation and blame shifting. They are being disrespectful to science, irresponsible to people’s lives and counter-productive to the concerted efforts to fight the virus,” he said.

The spokesman also said US intelligence agencies had a “dark history” of spreading misinformation.

A statement from the Chinese embassy in the US, which did not directly refer to Biden’s order, said “smear campaigns and blame shifting are making a comeback”.

Theory pushed by Trump

Speculation about the Wuhan Institute of Virology – one of China’s top virus research labs – began last year and was propagated by former US president Donald Trump.

US state department cables came to light in April 2020 that showed embassy officials were worried about biosecurity there.

Earlier this year, WHO issued a report written jointly with Chinese scientists on the origins of Covid-19 which said the chances of it having started in a lab were “extremely unlikely”.

It said the virus had probably jumped from bats to humans via another intermediary animal, but that more research was needed.

A WHO spokesperson on Thursday reiterated to the BBC that further studies were needed “in a range of areas, including on the early detection of cases and clusters, and the potential roles of animal markets, transmission via the food chain and the laboratory incident hypothesis”.

The laboratory theory has received increased public attention in the US amid recent reports attributed to intelligence sources that say three members of the Wuhan Institute of Virology were admitted to hospital in November 2019, several weeks before China acknowledged the first case of the new disease in the community.

President Biden’s chief medical adviser Anthony Fauci has maintained he believes the virus was passed from animals to humans, though he conceded this month he was no longer confident Covid-19 had developed naturally.

Biden’s order for further investigations came the day after Xavier Becerra, US secretary for health and human services, urged the WHO to ensure a “transparent” investigation into the virus’s origins.

“Phase 2 of the Covid origins study must be launched with terms of reference that are transparent, science-based and give international experts the independence to fully assess the source of the virus and the early days of the outbreak,” he said.

While there is still no evidence to suggest it is man-made, Facebook on Thursday said that in light of the ongoing investigations and in consultation with public health experts it would “no longer remove the claim that Covid-19 is man-made from our apps”.

“We’re continuing to work with health experts to keep pace with the evolving nature of the pandemic and regularly update our policies as new facts and trends emerge,” it said.

Pushing this while failing to report on the issues as reported widely from Buzzfeed, to Newsweek, to the Daily Mail and elsewhere is called lying propaganda in anyone’s book and is a technique used by every tyrannical government (especially, communist) known to history.

Why information about labourers who cleaned Chinese mine in 2012 could be vital to finding COVID-19 origins

Top US infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci has urged China to release information about six labourers who fell ill after working in a mine in Yunnan province in 2012, and are now seen as a key part of efforts to find the origins of COVID-19.

The workers, ages 30 to 63, were scrubbing a copper seam clean of bat faeces in April 2012. Weeks later, they were admitted to a hospital in the provincial capital of Kunming with persistent coughs, fevers, head and chest pains and breathing difficulties. Three eventually died.

The mine is in Mojiang in southwest China, about 1,500 kilometres from Wuhan, where COVID-19 was first identified.

Coronavirus: Massive study of AstraZeneca vaccine recipients finds no link to brain clots

A study of side effects following vaccination with AstraZeneca’s anti-COVID-19 shot in Scotland found only an association with a largely harmless bleeding condition and no link to brain clots, underscoring the rarity of potential complications.

A group of researchers led by University of Edinburgh Professor Aziz Sheikh, who tracked the health of 5.4 million people in Scotland, found that about one additional case of idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP) per 100,000 people occurred after the first injection with the vaccine.

ITP is a treatable condition of low platelet count with a range of possible symptoms and has not caused any deaths among the cohort monitored for the study, which included 1.7 million recipients of the Astra vaccine, the authors said.

The study, published in the journal Nature Medicine on Wednesday, suggested a vague link to arterial clotting or bleeding. But potentially deadly venous clotting in the brain, known as CVST, which has caused concern in Europe, particularly Scandinavia, was not associated with the Astra shot in the data analysis.

Due to the rarity of CVST, the Scottish data sample may have been too small to allow for any conclusions, Aziz told a media briefing.

“The overall message is just the rarity of these outcomes,” said Aziz.

“This is reassuring data, and we would very strongly encourage people, when they receive the invitation to get vaccinated, to go ahead,” he added.

NEW ZEALAND MEDIA APPARENTLY IGNORANT OF FAUCI DOWNFALL

The despicable politically partisan frauds who have taken over New Zealand’s media and turned it into a propaganda device for progressive neo-Marxism apparently don’t have a clue about the downfall of Biden’s Chief Medical Advisor Tony Fauci.

They do know that President Trump has been “banned” for two years by Facebook though, an event headlined on most of their internet sites this morning.

The fact that one comparatively insignificant event gets headlines, and another event of considerable significance gets covered up is just one more example of what partisan manipulators of the news they are. Its as if the old communists who used to run Pravda in the defunct Soviet Union have been reincarnated and now run every news outlet in New Zealand.

Why are they doing this? Well, for one thing, Fauci’s downfall proves Trump was right all along on many related issues, so they’ve got egg on their faces on that score. For the second thing they’re probably afraid the bad news about Fauci may effect the NZ public’s perception of their golden boy, Jacinda’s Chief Medical Advisor Ashley Bloomfield.

And if Bloomfield starts looking bad, then there’s a chance some of that might in turn rub off on PM Jacinda Ardern, and of course the Palace Guard will do all they can to protect their queen.

Western democracy has its flaws, but an essential part of it is a fair and balanced and active media. We don’t have that in this country. We instead have a collection of left wing political activists who have captured the media with the intent of corrupting our democracy, and keeping the communists who feed them (with taxpayer money) in power.

A desperate state of affairs that is damned difficult to escape from. The only way we can fight back friends is to make sure we spread our own knowledge of the media’s deliberate deceit cowardice and manipulation of the news as far and wide as we can by what ever means we can.

Social media and web sites like this are the only resource we have. Use them as much as you can. We must do all we can to fight the monolithic communist media, the cynical amoral actors who control it, and help the collective of poor fools who are daily duped by their deceitful partisan propaganda.
