It is obvious that the West does not understand Russia and, at least since the end of the Cold War, does not even try.
What are the chances of the neo-con warmongers understanding China?
Almost zero, I should think.
We somehow expect them to play ‘by the rules’ set by the West.
But they do not.
Whether it be traditional Chinese views or Marxist-communist they are not going to act in the ways that we want them to but in a way that is more subtle and which may not involve going into kinetic war.
