THE GREAT SNOW STORM – 29TH JULY 1867

THE GREAT SNOW STORM – 29TH JULY 1867

In many ways this follows on from my article from the weekend that discusses Ian Wishart’ s book, Air Con: The Seriously Inconvenient Truth About Global Warming CLIMATE CHANGE: A REASESSMENT IN THE CONTEXT OF THE LAST 3 YEARS Here is an extract from an interview of Paul Brennan of  with Ian Wishart on his findings on New Zealand’s Wishart where he revealed through his research that while New Zealand’s NIWA claimed that Cyclone Gabrielle was the most serious storm…

NIWA moves the goalpost on its climate change claims around Cyclone Gabrielle

Evidence is evidence CYCLONE GABRIELLE: NOT AS BIG, NOT AS WET, BUT DID NIWA FAIL TO JOIN THE DOTS ON FATAL FLOOD RISK? Apparent errors in NIWA’s database may have caused the climate agency to fatally underestimate the threat Cyclone Gabrielle posed to Hawke’s Bay residents. By Ian Wishart Four massive flooding events hit the region between 1893 and 1938, but NIWA has wrongly coded the two biggest as 1 in 150 year events even though they were only 30…

revealed: We have no open weather data in New Zealand – it has been weaponised

Earlier in the week we had research from investigator, Ian Wishart, that showed that there were storms in the 19th century that were more serious and damaging as Cyclone Gabrielle which, as I understand NIWA (the New Zealand equivalent of NOAA). Further it was revealed that the majority of these storms (over 80%, I think) are not on a NIWA database.  MOST EXTREME WEATHER EVENTS OF THE PAST ARE NOT ON NZ GOVERNMENT’S DATABASE This helps the government and compliant…

Most extreme weather events of the past are not on NZ government’s database

These revelations are shocking but not a surprise to me. Since I have been blogging I have dealt with dodgy data across agencies.  With WEF/UN pressure the narrative has changed. I wonder if the data will change and if this is more than just a “mistake”. I have more to come and will be commenting tomorrow. As per usual this is how the media treat people who just ask questions. I really had to hold my nose to listen to…

“One Source of Information”

“One Source of Information”

In New Zealand we have another “one source of information”   I was not paying attention at the time until the deluge hit but this is the story I get from the one reliable source I have in Auckland. I am told that there is a “one-upmanship” between NIWA and Metservice but the story I get is that Metservice and everyone else missed it, so that no warning was forthcoming. Civil Defence In Auckland only put out a warning at…

New Zealand’s NIWA says 2020 winter was the warmest on record

New Zealand’s NIWA says 2020 winter was the warmest on record – was it? These are the headlines from the Guardian announcing that this year saw the “warmest winter on record” I kept a record of winter temperatures where I live over July, the coldest month. What was revealed was that temperatures in the middle of the night were as high as 17C and that the differences between nighttime and daytime temperatures were minimal. This has not happened this year. Meanwhile, the Tasman Sea had…
