Ukraine: Military news from the Front
Putin’s order to the Russian Army: “Crush the Ukrainians on all fronts” – Seversk was painted in blood – BMPT Terminator in the battle
Sail for Dnieper by the Russian Army
An order to speed up military operations and crush the Ukrainian Army on all fronts so that it does not “raise its head” was given by the President of Russia, Putin, to the Russian Minister of Defense, Sergei Shoigu, with the latter hastily going over and inspecting the forces involved in the war in Donbass.
The order confirms what has become clear over the past 48 hours: Russia is now relentlessly bombing targets and areas in Ukraine without regard for cost and loss of life. And this is due to the use of MLRS HIMARS by Kyiv and the bombings it carried out in Kherson, Donetsk and Lugansk.
The purpose of Putin’s order is to prevent Kyiv from launching mass rocket and artillery attacks on civilian infrastructure and settlement residents in the Donbass and other regions.
The issue now is that in order to effectively secure the Donbas areas, the Russian Army must expel the Ukrainians at a distance of at least 300 km, which is the maximum range of the HIMARS, i.e. reach the Dnieper…

“Accelerate business”
Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu inspected the forces of the Southern and Central Military Commands participating in the war in Ukraine and conveyed Putin’s order to accelerate military operations in all regions.
“At the command post, General Sergei Shoigu heard reports from the Commander of the Southern Group, General Sergei Surovykin, the Commander of the Central Forces, General Alexander Lapin and other commanders on the current situation, the nature of the enemy’s actions and the progress of of the Russian Armed Forces in the execution of combat missions” .
“At the end of the hearing, the head of the Russian military department gave the necessary instructions to further increase the actions of the groups in all operational areas in order to exclude the possibility of the Kiev regime launching massive missile and artillery attacks on civilian infrastructure and residents of settlements in Donbass and other regions,” the Russian Defense Ministry noted. .
“In pursuance of the decree of the President of Russia, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergei Shoigu, awarded the Gold Star of the Hero of the Russian Federation to Colonel Alexander Lapin and Major General Esedulla Abachev for their courage and heroism” , informed the Russian Ministry of Defense.
The southern group is led by the Commander-in-Chief of the Aerospace Forces Sergei Surovikin, the Center group is led by the commander of the troops of the Central Military District Alexander Lapin.
The Russian army broke through the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Seversk region and controls 60% of the city.
But for some reason the Russian administration decided not to continue the operation inside the city and especially not to have battles in the central districts of Seversk..
A while ago it became known that an order was given to set up a new ambush on the Ukrainian forces and surround them in the outskirts of the city that are not yet under Russian control.
For this reason new artillery reinforcements are brought in and the city is pounded from the outskirts with MLRS BM-21 Grad and Uragan. Apparently the Russians spotted strong Ukrainian fortifications and layered defenses and ambushes inside the city. That is why they urgently transport BMPT “Terminator”.
At least one BMPT “Terminator” specially designed to support armored and other combat vehicles in urban areas was recently spotted on the outskirts of Seversk.
The “Terminator” is equipped with four 9M120 ATAKA-T anti-tank missiles with a maximum range of 6 km, two remote-controlled 30 mm 2A42 machine guns with 850 rounds, two AG-17D or AGS-30 30 mm grenade launchers with 600 rounds and a coaxial machine gun 7.62mm PKTM with 2000 rounds.
In terms of protection, it has “Relikt” active armor on the front and sides, which is considered superior to the “Kontakt-5” active armor used on older models of Russian tanks. It also carries smoke launchers on both sides for protection against infrared aiming weapons.
Heavy Ukrainian losses at Seversk – 600 dead
At the same time, the Russians are reporting huge Ukrainian losses in the Seversk region. According to the announcement of the Russian Ministry of Defense:
-As a result of the high-precision strikes of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the 115th mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was operating in the Seversk direction, was destroyed.
-In the last two days alone, personnel losses in this unit amounted to more than 600 people. Residents of Seversk, Nikolaevka and other nearby settlements under the control of the Ukrainian army are urgently mobilized to replenish the brigade.
-Up to 200 nationalists and foreign mercenaries, as well as 13 units of armored and motorized vehicles, were destroyed as a result of shelling of the temporary deployment point of the 123rd Territorial Defense Brigade in the city of Nikolaev.
-In the context of the successful actions of the Russian Armed Forces and the significant losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ukrainian nationalists refuse to take further part in the hostilities in Donbass. In particular, 45 nationalists of the 204th battalion of the 241st territorial defense brigade left their combat positions in the Artemovsk region and asked to be transferred to the west.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue to strike military installations on the territory of Ukraine.
-Klaibr cruise missiles in the city of Dnepropetrovsk destroyed the workshops for the production of components and repair of ballistic missiles “Tochka-U” and MLRS missiles at the factory “Southern Machine-Building Plant”.
In addition, the high-precision weapons of the Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed in one day:
-four command posts, including the 80th Airborne Brigade in the Serebryanka region of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the 3rd Tank Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Novopokrovka region, an ammunition depot in the Konstantinovka region of the Donetsk People’s Republic, human resources and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 25 regions.
-Additionally, two platoons of MLRS, 15 units of Giatsint-B and D-30 guns were destroyed in the areas of Verkhnekamenskoye, Serebryanka, Seversk, Artemovsk, Avdeevka and Georgievka settlements of the Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as artillery units in firing positions in 73 areas.
– Aviation, missile forces and artillery in 24 hours destroyed: 21 command posts, five ammunition depots, human resources and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in 189 areas.
– Fighter jets of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down three aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force: two MiG-29s in the areas of the settlements of Novopavlovka in the Nikolaev region and Vladimirovka in the Dnepropetrovsk region, and one Su-25 in Seversk.
Two Ukrainian helicopters were also shot down: an Mi-8 near Velyka Novoselka and a Mi-24 near Seversk.
Russian air defense systems shot down 14 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the areas of settlements: Dolgenka, Izyum, Malaya Kamyshevakha, Kamyshany, Reshetilovskoe, Alchevsk, Serebryanka, Grigorov, Spartak, Krasny Oktyabr and Krinichnaya.
In addition, a Tochka-U ballistic missile was intercepted in the area of the Novozvanovka settlement of the Donetsk People’s Republic, and two Uragan system shells were intercepted in the Izyum area of the Kharkiv region.
Friday, July 15, 2022, saw a major escalation in the Russia-Ukraine hostilities; the city of Dnipro was hit with six cruise missiles. There are many dead and many more injured. Dnipro is the third largest city in Ukraine.
The violence today became horrific. When the cruise missiles began striking, some people in vehicles were burned to death as blast shrapnel penetrated fuel tanks and set the vehicles ablaze.
And in this one:
. . . and another:
Pedestrians, including young children, were ripped apart and killed. ( WARNING – Graphic Image Below):

What makes this so different from elsewhere in Ukraine is that Dnipro was the location from which many attacks against Donetsk were – and are – launched. From 2014 through 2022, Dnipro was the city upon which much of Ukraine’s military relied as they bombed and fired mortars into Donetsk. These “poor people” you see in the images above . . . did nothing for the ultimately 14,000 or so killed in Donetsk and Luhansk from 2014-2022.
There were no tears by the people of Dnipro for the people of Luhansk and Donetsk! In case you never saw some of that carnage, take a look at what Ukraine did to civilians in Luhansk and Donetsk (WARNING – Graphic)
Above is Inna, killed in Luhansk when Ukrainian fascists fired a missile into the local administration building in 2014.
Above is Chrisitina and her baby girl, killed in Donetsk by Ukrainian shelling of her apartment building in 2014.
There were no demands that the slaughter of those people should stop. Now, Dnipro is getting what the people of Luhansk and Donetsk got. Karma?
The map below shows the region. Zooming-in will let you see it is only about 100 miles from Dnipro to Donetsk:
So on the one hand, it is horrifying to see this type of carnage, it must be remembered that these people seemed to say and do NOTHING while artillery and mortar fire were being enabled by this city, to kill civilians in Donetsk.
No, one does not justify the other, but these facts appear to be in play as to the brutality of the strikes today.
Here is video of some of the missiles, in flight, and detonating:
And social media video too:
Ukraine could have prevented this. The Ukrainian government was repeatedly told that its efforts to join NATO, and worse, to allow US missiles on Ukraine territory with a five minute flight time to Moscow, were a “Red Line” for the Russians. Ukraine proceeded anyway.
Ukraine was warned to stop attacking the Russian-speaking populations of Luhansk and Donetsk; they attacked anyway.
In November and December 2021, Ukraine was told to stop massing troops on the border of Luhansk and Donetsk in preparation for an all-out invasion of those two states, which had voted to secede from Ukraine. The troops were massed anyway; 80,000 of them!
So now Ukraine is finding out what happens when a small country like them, upsets the security for a superpower like Russia. They get smashed.
People say “Ukraine had the right to associate with NATO.” Countries don’t have “rights.” In International affairs, might makes right. Ukraine is finding that out now.
Oh, and those who think that Russia is **not** a “superpower” should take a good hard look. Because right now, the entire western world is shipping weapons, ammunition, and training into Ukraine, and the Russians are chewing it all up and spitting it out. Russia absolutely, positively **is** a superpower, and they’re showing it right now.
The West should consider exactly what it will mean if Russia’s awesome power is shifted from Ukraine to us. It could be **OUR** cities ending up like Dnipro . . . or worse.
It is time for the West to bow out of Ukraine, and let Ukraine make nice with Russia to put an end to this carnage. The West’s “help” to Ukraine, is only making things worse. The dead bodies above, are proof.
